2 Years Limited Warranty

ORZU Watches, by Lecorb India Pvt. Ltd., come with a warranty of two years period from the date of purchase. Under the terms and conditions of this warranty, it broadly covers material and manufacturing defects related to the watch and its movement.

 

Terms and Conditions of Warranty

The warranty shall be applicable only upon presentation of the original sales invoice or a duly filled and stamped warranty card.

Warranty Exclusions

 The warranty does not cover the following:

  • Any abnormal defects in the crystal, case, strap, or bracelet.
  • Damage caused by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or any other factors not related to defects in material or workmanship.
  • Water damage resulting from usage beyond the specified water-resistance level.
  • Damage due to improper handling or normal wear and tear.
  • Watches purchased from unauthorized sellers.
  • Watches found to be counterfeit or non-genuine ORZU products.
  • Generally, leather straps are not covered under warranty; however, any failure due to manufacturing defects (such as leather cuts, pasting separation, or stretch tears) shall be replaced within six months from the date of purchase.

 

Turnaround Time for Service Watches

We are committed to repairing your watch within four weeks of its receipt at our company’s service centre, subject to parts availability. Customers will be notified in advance in case of any delay.

 

Customer Delight

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. To ensure that we consistently meet your expectations, we are pleased to offer the following key service commitments:

 

1. Limited Warranty: Your ORZU watch carries a two-year limited warranty.
During this period, if your watch is found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

 

2. 30-Day Replacement Policy: All ORZU watches undergo rigorous quality checks. However, in the rare event of a manufacturing defect (excluding battery-related issues, which are covered under our Goodwill Battery Guarantee Policy), discovered within 30 days of purchase, your watch will be replaced.

In the event a replacement is required, ORZU may not guarantee the same model. If the same model is unavailable, a watch of equal value and similar style will be provided.

The warranty for the replacement watch will continue to be valid for two years from the original purchase date, under the same terms and conditions.

  

3. Repair or Replace: If your watch is within the warranty period and cannot be repaired for any reason, ORZU will provide a replacement watch of equivalent value.

  

4. Post-Warranty Support: After the expiry of the warranty period, if your watch cannot be repaired, ORZU will offer a credit value towards the purchase of a new ORZU watch, based on our Depreciation Policy.

 

Depreciation Rate: 20% per year 

Depreciation policy example:

Age of Customer’s watch (from date of purchase): 3Years
Customer Purchase Price: Rs. 10000/-
Depreciated @ 60%: Rs. 6000/- (Rs. 10000 x 60%)
Credit value: Rs. 4000/- (Rs. 10000 – Rs. 6000)

 

5. Six-Month Goodwill Plating Warranty (for Plated Watches): Your plated ORZU watch is crafted with care but remains delicate, especially under Indian climatic conditions. As a gesture of goodwill, if you notice plating peel-off on the bracelet, crown, or case within six months of purchase, ORZU will replace the affected components free of charge.

 

6. Twelve-Month Goodwill Battery Guarantee: If your watch requires a battery replacement within 12 months of purchase, ORZU will replace it free of charge, provided The back case has not been opened (Defect due to water entry on non WR resistance watches, water entry due to abnormal usage is not guaranteed)

 

7. Four weeks service promise: it will be our endeavour to repair your watch within 4 weeks of it reaching us at our Company Service Centre, subject to part availability. Customers will be notified of any delays in advance.

 

8. Six-month warranty for service: We stand by the quality of our service. Every repair carried out at our authorized service centre is covered by a six-month warranty, applicable specifically to the repair/service performed.

 

9. Free Cleaning Service: Every watch received for servicing is thoroughly cleaned using advanced equipment to restore its appearance. This cleaning service is provided free of charge, ensuring your watch returns to you looking refreshed and well-maintained.
